To those who don’t follow mmo’s that closely, warhammer online is now free to play, for tier 1, that’s level 1-11, which is the most active, and provides you with a nice overview of the game, your class, and allows you to get decent gear, and enjoy the game, without having to dish out money.

War had a rocky start, due to being shoved out the door, and, at the time it showed.

Top that off with the fact the initial community approached it as a typical mmo (get quest, grind quest, repeat) the game wasn’t seen for what it was. Which is a pure pvp mmo. A typical battle can involve over 200 people, and that, is done with relatively little lag.

Im not saying this is a perfect game, or even an amazing game, I’m just saying its entertaining for what it is, simple, straight forward, and to the point pvp.
